In-N-Out in less than a half an hour. The employees are very helpful and friendly right down to the security staff at the front door. Also, it's an absolutely beautiful building.

Here to write a review for fellow potential jurors: Pros: -parking garage right adjacent ($13/day) -beautiful building, high ceilings, good amenities -friendly and good-hearted staff (maybe it was just because the sun was out today, but everyone was very friendly and helpful) Cons: -while the seating in the initial waiting room is comfortable, the benches in the actual court room and the waiting areas outside where you may be seated for hours, are just plain wood. If you have any back/sciatica issues, bring a little seating pad Additional helpful info: -there's free wifi -you have access to your phone + belongings while waiting -don't wear strong cologne out of courtesy for the people you are in close spaces with -there is a cafe/coffee shop in the building but you're also allowed to bring food and snacks

Hundreds of millions of dollars for a huge building in the middle of homelessness and addiction. Just another cog in the money machine legal wheel. Meanwhile innocent people wait hours to be called while you watch them bring incarcerated people to the drive thru window. Its insulting and no private company would ever survive with such ludicrous processes.

Had jury duty here on Thursday October 19,2023. I had such an amazing experience. Everyone from the maintenance person to the persons that screen you. To the two gentleman in the jury pool. Honestly, I was VERY apprehensive about going from past experience where everyone made you feel like you were the one that was being tried and wasnβt very supportive. But, yesterday was so much different. I am so happy to have had the experience. Thank you for showing me that doing a civil duty isnβt that scary. Incredible staff!!

The Lowell Justice Center is an energy efficient courthouse overlooking the historic Hamilton Canal. The cutting-edge facility is being constructed for the Superior, District, Probate & Family, Juvenile, and Housing Courts of Middlesex County. A Law Library/Court Service Center and an office space for the District Attorney and Registry of Deeds will also be provided. The new building will replace a leased facility and 2 outdated state-owned courthouses. A goal in the design of this courthouse is to minimize the use of energy drawn from utility grids. The courthouse will be extremely energy efficient, with an expected LEED-platinum rating, and will feature a chilled beam HVAC system, photo-voltaic panels, and sophisticated building systems controls.
